Hilary Law was born and raised in New England. She received her BFA from Hampshire College in 1984 and has worked extensively in various craft fields including glass, papermaking and weaving. A lover of all things tactile, she gardens, knits, sews, cooks, does the crossword, entertains, and makes a general mess in Jamaica Plain Massachusetts where she lives with her tolerant family.
